We are now looking for an experienced Sous~Chef to fill our vacancy.
We are expecting someone who has a passion for food, attention to details, ability to multi task and be a proactive member of the team. Ideal candidate should have a relevant qualification or 3 years’ work experience in commercial restaurant.
You are required to:
Planning menu items, participating in the organization of ordering, cost controlling and wastage of food
Checking and monitoring the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met
Determining how food should be presented, and creating decorative food displays
Demonstrating new cooking techniques and equipment to staff
Estimating amounts and costs of required supplies, such as food and ingredients
