Can anyone please explain the various types of tenancy contracts that are available in Auckland? And pros and cons?
There are few options
Open term or periodic tenancy agreement.
In this option a tenant has rights to give minimum of 21 days written notice to leave the property and owner can give minimum of 90 days written notice to get vacate the property from tenants or in special cases of owner wants to move by himself then they can serve 42 days written notice.
Fixed Term Tenancy Agreement.
This agreement is for specific time frame. Terms and conditions may vary depends upon the agreement.
