We are a family of 5, we are visiting Auckland for 10 days in mid Sep, just planning ahead so need some input regarding food and places to go especially with kids. And how the weather would behave in that time of year.
Weather will be cold so come prepared with rain jackets etc
Places with kids are zoo, western springs, aquarium, rainbows end… also can go on mount eden and sky tower…
Few nearby regional parks like Shakespeare park is good…
Food wise mostly kebab shops are halal… in desi food paradise, des tradition and khanz are recommended…
