NZ Eid day is an awesome event that takes place twice a year on Eid day. It provides entertainment and fun for families celebrating the festival of Eid and open for the public. The even starts with morning Eid prayers that are conducted in the halls of the stadium. After prayers and meet and greet people move up towards the stadium corridor that is full of stalls from over 35 ethnicities. Lots of food and entertainment option and lots of free rides and fun activities for the kids. Highly recommended for families on Eid day in Auckland
This is free entry event for ALL to come celebrate Eid al Adha with the Kiwi Muslim community. This is a day of fun and family enjoyment with 10,000 Muslims in Auckland with food, games and entertainment.
Enjoy a wide variety of games, food stalls – featuring cuisines from the 35 ethnicities that make up the Muslim community, educational displays, and a collection of stage shows presenting diverse cultural performances, exciting busker acts and guest speakers appealing to all family members from children to adults alike.
This is a public event and all are welcome regardless of faith, ethnicity, gender and age.
New Zealand Eid Day is a family-based event celebrating the major “Eid” holidays observed by Muslims worldwide. The aim is to create an atmosphere of happiness, fun, diversity and unity, where we all come together to celebrate our cultures and differences.
