More Change to Temporary Entry Immigration Instructions Announced Today
These changes effective on and after 1 December 2020 enable a one-off six-month visa to be granted to HALAL SLAUGHTERS who submit an application between 1 January 2021 and 30 June 2021 (and who would normally be subject to the stand-down period during this time).
These changes effective on and after 14 December 2020 remove the requirement for applicants for a Supplementary Seasonal Employment (SSE) visa expiring on or before 30 June 2021 to provide medical and police certificates.
Changes have also been made to add a Recognised Seasonal Employer (RSE) status requirement for RSEs to take all reasonable steps to find full time work for the duration of an RSE worker’s visa, including by finding work opportunities with other RSE employers.
