From tomorrow we will be opening up for dine-in customers as well. Physical/Social distancing rules no longer apply which means you can bring your families and friends, grab a table and share a meal or two…or maybe maybe three!

While shopping in Papatoetoe we happened to have a craving for Fiji curry and fiji style food. Now came the question where to find authentic fiji curry or authentic fiji food in Auckland? thats when we called a couple of local friends who recommended Hunters Corner Curry House on Kolmar Road, Papatoetoe.
It was a small and very tidy little takeaway with a very large and affordable menu. We ordered bunch of chicken, duck and lamb curries and some Fijian sweets (gulgullay). The food was absolutely amazing, just like how my Fijians friend make it when they invite us at their home. The sweets were delicious too. Also something to note was the very generous serving size. Tell the lady at the counter that this is your first time at this takeaway and she would help and guide you select the best menu. They also serve halal food. Highly recommended
