Digger Operator

• Hourly rate $32 - $40 (Depending on experience)

CPL Recruitment is looking for an experienced Digger Operator to work on some of the most interesting commercial projects located at West Auckland. Suitable candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of experience on a range of excavators and be confident carrying out numerous tasks including labouring outside the machine.
What you’ll do
• Mainly operating small to mid-sized excavators
• Assisting your team with work in and out of the machine when required
• Lead and work with a team in a dynamic and safe manner
What you’ll need
• Extensive experience operating a range of machinery in the civil field (up to 20 tonnes)
• Mechanical ability to assist with maintenance and on-site problems that may arise
• Be able to read plans and instructions, perform documentation and dimensional checks
• Must pass a random drug and alcohol test during employment
• Applicants must have their own transport
• Must have a current, clean driver’s license with WRT Endorsement and valid Site Safe
• Comply with health and safety requirements and wear appropriate PPE gear
• Ability to take direction
• Reliable and punctual
• Work in a timely and safe manner
