If you’ve been craving authentic Malaysian cuisine (and like me, haven’t been able to afford the exorbitant airfares to KL yet), let me introduce you to Sim’s KItchen!
This is a family run business, started in Hillsborough in 2016, and they are all about sharing the experience of Malaysian food and culture with the amazing people of Auckland!
The team only serve fish and Brinks chicken and their curry pastes are all imported from Malaysia and 
halal.
Pics of their food below speak for themselves but the menu includes Nasi Lemak (classic or with chicken curry or deep fried chicken) as well weekend specials such as Mee Goreng, Laksa and Fried Rice. They also serve curry puffs, chicken nibbles and Nasi Lemak Bungkus for you to snack on while you wait for your mains! 
Sim’s Kitchen is located at 1/59 Victoria Street, Onehunga and are open Tue-Thur 9am to 2:30pm and Fri-Sun 9:30am to 2pm. Closed on Mondays.
Malaysians are well known for loving good food, the least we can do is help them eat it
