Cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the Auckland community.

Auckland is now at Alert Level 3. The rest of the country is now at Alert Level 2.

Travelling in or out of Auckland is restricted.

People in Auckland must do the following:

  1. Stay at home, within your bubble

  2. Work from home, unless that is not possible

  3. Keep a 2-metre distance from others, or 1-metre in workplaces

  4. Wear a face covering if possible

  5. If you have symptoms, get tested.

Children should learn at home if possible.

Businesses can open, but cannot physically interact with customers.

Restrictions will remain until Friday at midnight. A further announcement on next steps will be made by then.
