Assistant Restaurant Manager

We are searching for a reliable, innovative Assistant Restaurant Manager to supervise operations at our bustling restaurant. The Assistant Restaurant Manager’s duties include scheduling shifts, balancing cash registers, and overseeing wage cost and rosters. You should also address customers’ complaints and queries in a swift, courteous manner.

Assistant Restaurant Manager Responsibilities:

Opening and closing the restaurant.
Appointing, inducting, and mentoring staff members.
Resolving customers’ questions and grievances in a professional manner.
Conducting wage cost activities in an accurate, timely manner.
Ensuring that the restaurant adheres to pertinent health and safety regulations.
Dealing with suppliers and keeping a track of monthly inventory and day to day wastage and breakage sheet.
Working closely with Restaurant Manager to achieve company’s target and goals.

Assistant Restaurant Manager Requirements:

Previous supervisory experience, preferably within a restaurant.
Strong leadership skills.
Excellent customer service.
Innovative, trustworthy, and impartial.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Current Managers Certificate.
NZ valid work visa or NZ citizen or permanent resident .
