No, KFC in New Zealand is NOT halal certified. The chicken used is from non-halal suppliers. This applies to all KFC locations across NZ. For halal fried chicken alternatives: Total Chicken (multiple Auckland locations), Wicked Chicken (Panmure), and several independent halal chicken shops in Otahuhu and Mangere.
