NZ CVs are different from other countries: 2-3 pages max (not 5-10 like some countries). Include: personal profile (3-4 lines), key skills, work history (most recent first with achievements, not just duties), education, referees (2-3 NZ-based if possible). Do NOT include: photo, date of birth, marital status, religion. Always include your visa status. Use Seek.co.nz, TradeMe Jobs, and LinkedIn. Tailor each CV to the job. Networking is huge in NZ — attend industry events and join LinkedIn NZ groups.
